It’s been said that a journey of a thousand miles begins with one step, and so I suppose this first blogpost would be representative of my first step in what promises to be an exciting new journey for me; and I’m glad that you’re here to take it with me.
It’s my sincere hope that you’ll continue to be part of this experience in heart, mind and spirit, and enjoy the adventures and magical places this blog will take you to, until the day that you’re inspired to let me plan your own trip to Africa.
Because even before the first step is taken in any journey, one must plan it. And so it has been with this venture; which began as a spark of an idea to combine all that I’ve learned in business and my travels with my passion for Africa to create unique, bespoke itineraries for people just like you. And then to personally ensure that all goes according to plan.
But first I needed a name. African Firefly says all I want it to about shining lights on magical places. My tagline; ‘Travel With Distinction’ underscores my promise of quality. Next came my logo and brand identity, and this website sculpted by my friends at
digitalJUNGLE. And now we’re ready to go – pack your bags; next stop is Tanzania!
